Philosophy of Training
Imagine a perfect body -- lean, strong, balanced, flexible -- the ultimate of fitness and symmetry. Attaining such perfection is the mission
of Sand Kam's Fitness Advantage.
Established in 1981, Fitness Advantage is a professional, well-staffed and well established personal training facility.
The difference is more than purely physical. While the weight and cardiovascular equipment is excellent, it is the unique philosophy, methodology
and unceasing support that has the greatest influence on your physique.
Sand's initial inspiration as a trainer came from his early childhood introduction to the Martial Arts. This early physical training taught him
to respect the human form.
Over the years, he has extended this ideology to produce an innovative fitness philosophy that incorporates the eastern concepts of balance and
body awareness in concert with modern high-intensity.
His customized programs integrate weight loss, strength-building, balance and posture improvement, and increasing flexibility into a holistic
regimen that is specific to each individual. No matter what you wish to achieve, it’s Sand’s intense personal approach, coupled with high intensity
training, that results in the most efficient workout possible.
"Education is key..."

Old Hawaiian Guy
Holy Mackerel! I guess I really did it this time. I went and turned the big "six oh"! Wife Anne
threw a great party at Paul & Kathryn's newly remodeled home. (Thank you P & K!) Friends and family joined
the festivities last Saturday, the 26th, with food, music, cake, and Blue Hawaii's abound. Kathryn played

bartender and mixed up pitchers of exotic Blue Hawaii's while Paul played host and photographer and shot all
these great fun photos. Byron & Jen drove down from Portland to have grandson Will entertain grandpa Sand.
Thank you to everyone for a great party, and for all the Home Depot gift cards! At the final tally, I was able
to get the hammerdrill I really wanted (it was on sale!) Boys and their toys....
Again, THANK YOU to everyone for a very memorable day!
